Well, at this point, I am getting kind of antsy about trying to make the artbook sell. (Mostly because it is now well past New Years and this is a New Year themed artbook.) So yeah, I lied. I am posting the artwork that will appear in the artbook.

BLEH. My scanner totally messed up my beautiful colors. D:

The picture itself took 2 hours to draw (because of all that stuff in the background and anatomy issues) and then I spent over the course of 3 days at least 4 hours painstakingly coloring it because I used only one very tiny brush for this A4 sized paper. And then the way watercolour works with the absorbant paper I used means that I can't lift the color off like I can with regular watercolour paper. So if I make a mistake, it's stuck on the paper forever. Also, to prevent the paper from tearing because it is not watercolour paper, I had to wait until it was dry before continuing coloring another section of it. So it was a long process. I'm kind of happy with the outcome though.

Those things on her head are the ribbons people put on presents. At New Years, I take all my Christmas present ribbons and stick them on my head because it's fun. LOL I dunno why. And the sticks she has are firework sparklers. (Yes I am weird and I like lighting sparklers inside. Don't worry, I make sure safety comes first...wait a minute...)
